The following presentation was given at a public workshop at Prefab on 10 April. The focus areas contain examples of possible interventions, and were designed to get feedback about the level of intervention that workshop participants preferred. As discussion during the workshop illustrated, all of these focus areas are interrelated and trade-offs will need to be made.

Let’s Get Wellington Moving is a joint initiative between Wellington City Council, Greater Wellington Regional Council, and the NZ Transport Agency. We’re collaborating with the people of Wellington to improve our transport system. Our focus is the area from Ngauranga Gorge to the Airport, encompassing the Wellington Urban Motorway and connections to Wellington Hospital and eastern and southern suburbs.
